The Zoo, The FLX, and a Super Tele

More Island of Misfit Photographs!

I meant to post this yesterday, but I was A.) busy and B.) my computer died. Fun times. ANYWAYS, I spent a large portion of my early winter working on some lens reviews. One of these lenses (a massive 150-600mm telephoto zoom) was targeted to shoot birds and wildlife, so on a relatively tolerable day, I hit the zoo. Upstate NY is a pretty dreary sight in the winter months, and I certainly wasn’t gonna get much color or diversity without a little help.

And then on to the FLX, where I spent part of Thanksgiving sitting on a freezing, snow-covered beach. The whole waiting in utter silence thing really tries my patience and total inability to sit still. Hence the reason why I never do wildlife photography!
