I’m sorting through the Island of Misfit Photographs from the past several months. These were my favorite fauna and flora-inspired images I randomly snapped out and about last year.
This caterpillar looked like a toothbrush.
It’s 2015! My head is finally done swimming with the holiday madness. I love the holidays, but oh man, they’re tiring. I’m on the road pretty much nonstop. I opted to leave my DSLRs at home and photograph the festivities of the week in 35mm and instant film, so those scans will come a bit later.
Out of the frying pan and into the fire; Matt and I close on the new house today. It’s an understatement to say I’m eager to leave the crowded apartment life behind. We found ourselves an Adirondack-style loft in a quiet, densely wooded little neighborhood. Behind our street is a 3600 acre plot of protected greenspace/wetlands. I grew up surrounded by nature, and I can’t wait to be back in that environment. Circumstances have us not moving for at least another two months, but now’s the time to start getting things organized and save some cash for the light remodeling we plan to do. Starting, I think, with some prints for above the fireplace. Wink.
Oh WOW! I Love these shots! So beautiful.
Thank you darlin’! 😀
